Delighted to announce our guest artist for Sept 29th Open Mic in Abbey Lane Theatre is the talented musician and songwriter Conchur White.
An Armagh county native Conchúr White has been releasing music under his own name from 2019 to critical acclaim. The former 'Silences' front man has since released 2 EPs and signed with the highly regarded record label 'Bella Union' (Father John Misty, Beach House, Fleet Foxes, Flaming Lips) ahead of the release of his debut album.
Conchúr has toured with the likes of Villagers, John Grant, Billie Marten and supported legendary artists such as John Cale (Velvet Underground) and Echo and The Bunnymen.
Conchur first graced the Open Mic stage in July's John Hewitt Summer School taking a slot near the close of the evening and made an instant hit with the packed audience. So excited to have him back as Guest Artist and on this month's longer slot. Dont miss this guy on his way to stardom.
