Along side NJ McClean we have a growing band of contributors to fill our evening with poetry, stories, ballads, music and writings in our intimate, friendly venue , Abbey Lane Theatre. Also we have Diane Gowing,writer and poet who will read her poem 'Padraig Pearse' inspired by her screen play 'Countess' based on Countess Markievicz. So already a brilliant night shaping up for the 25th. Doors open 8pm- £5 at door , a glass of wine and refreshments free. Bring your own tipple  and enjoy the ''best wee Open Mic in Co Armagh''

Returning with a packed evening of poets, writers, musicians and singers Abbey Lane Open Mic flings its doors wide again to welcome; Seonaid Murray (Saxaphone) and Colin Hassard (International performance poet), from Holywood Roy Uprichard ( Camino de Santiago writer), and Ukulele Jam led by Elma McEneaney PLUS all our regular and new contributors to what is being called by one of Armagh's finest poets, David Braziel ''the best Open Mic '' .With such a PACKED evening start time  will be 8.15pm and we'll go on to 11pm+ to accommodate all performers......COME EARLY COME PREPARED!

 

We, (Armagh Theatre Group)are actively seeking adults of all ages and acting experience to audition for parts in our next production in November.

We are reading Bernard Farrell's 'Bookworms' next Tues night 7.30pm in Abbey Lane Theatre, Armagh.
