Submissions open now for Armagh Theatre Group’s Mini Plays 2026

Following on from the success of the last 2 years, ATG is calling for the scripts of Mini Plays to be produced as Mini Plays 2026 over 3 nights in Abbey Lane Theatre sometime in 2026.

 

 

 

Guidelines

The Mini Plays

(a) Can be of any subject/style you want.

(b) Must not exceed 1200 words (roughly 7 to 10 minutes long)

(c) Have a cast of no more than 4 characters

(d) Have a minimalist set/props (Abbey Lane stage is small!)

(e) Only one submission per writer.  

Submissions

The Mini Play (in the Word Document ) should not have your name on it and contain no reference to your identity as the selection process will be anonymous.

Each writer of a selected Mini Play will receive a one-off royalty payment of £30 covering all three shows. Writers retain their rights.

The closing date for submissions is 31st January 2026.
