About the Play “Toxic Relationships” – A Darkly Funny Climate Wake-Up Call! Buckle up for a bold, irreverent, and unexpectedly moving theatrical experience that brings climate change out of the headlines and onto the stage with inflatable dinosaurs, celestial sass, and courtroom drama. In Toxic Relationships, Byddi Lee turns extinction into entertainment—until it’s not. From a prehistoric parody starring self-important T-rexes, to a cosmic conflict between Earth and Moon, to a scathing trial where Big Oil, Industry, Farmer and Consumer face off with Youth and Poverty, this play mixes science with satire in a way that’s as hilarious as it is horrifying. Featuring a shape-shifting CLIMATE and a comet with a flair for the dramatic, this fast-paced eco-comedy confronts global warming with wit, warmth, and wisdom. But make no mistake: beneath the laughs lies a searing truth about inequality, responsibility, and the ticking clock we all share. A must-see for anyone who’s ever wondered how we got here—and how we might still change course. Laugh. Cry. Think. Act. Before it’s too late.
